Open Mill
Open mill is mainly used for rubber warm-up, mixing, and natural rubber plasticizing & sheeting.
Open mill mainly consists of motor, harden tooth reducer, gear wheel, front & rear roller, bearing and seat, base and frame, nip adjusting device, stock blender, emergency stop device, roller temperature adjusting device, lubrication device, safety protection device, stock pan, electrical system, etc.
1. Roller: The roller is made of high-grade centrifugal casting chilled alloy cast iron. The surface hardness of the roller is 68-75HSD, and the roller surface has high hardness and smoothness.
2. Nip adjustment device: The rear roller bearing seat is fixed on the frame, and the front roller bearing seat can slide back and forth on the guide rail, hence to achieve the purpose of nip adjustment.
3. Safety device: Emergency stop buttons and kick stops are installed to ensure operator safety.
4. Lubrication system: Roller bearing adopts manual grease lubrication. Gear wheel and reducer adopt oil bath lubrication.
5. Stock pan: it is welded by stainless steel plate and installed under two rollers.
6. Stock blender: It is fixed type or movable type according to different customer’s requirements, and the contact area with roller uses nylon material.
7. Base and frame: Base is integrally welded, and the frame adopts the structure of steel plate welding. Whole machine is with stable performance and nice outlook.
