Machine Description
Banbury machine rubber mixer consists of main machine (pressing ram device, feeding device, discharge device, locking device, etc.), transmission device, electrical control system, lubrication system, etc. The "8" shape cavity is composed by upper ram, mixing chamber, rotor and discharge door. There is a pair of rotors with a certain shape, speed ratio and relative rotation in the cavity. The rubber compound and other compounding agents are fed through the feeding door or other openings of the feeding device, and plasticizing or mixing is carried out in the mixing chamber. After plasticizing or mixing is completed, it is discharged from the discharge door and enters the next process.
Machine structure and features
Base: Including the base of mixing system and transmission system.
It is welded by steel plate and profile steel, and after annealing heat treatment, it is processed by CNC high-precision machining, so it has good rigidity, stable performance, and stable mechanical structure during high-strength mixing.
Pressing ram device: It consists of material box, guide system, top ram driving cylinder, top ram, material door, cleaning device and dust cover.
1) Material box: After welding, grinding, polishing and electroplating of steel plate, it is processed by CNC high-precision machining;
2) Guiding system: Four columns are fixed on the top surface of the material box, two of which are mirror smooth surface columns passing through the driving beam of top ram equipped with self-lubricating bearings, and the four-way fixing makes the upper and lower ram are driven stably up and down, reducing the failure of the pressing system;
3) Top ram driving oil cylinder: It is equipped on both sides of the material box, through the high and low pressure conversion of the hydraulic system to drive the top ram to move up and down to achieve the function of pressing material;
4) Top ram: It adopts jacket welding structure, surfacing 5mm hard alloy after quenching and tempering, finishing, and then electroplating 0.12mm thick wear-resistant hard chrome, and inlaid copper wear-resistant strips at the contact position with the mixing chamber, which is wear and corrosion resistance.
5) Material door: It adopts steel plate welded structure, which is plated with hard chrome after finishing and grinding. The opening and closing of material door are hydraulic driven.
6) Cleaning device: Use PLC to control the opening and closing time of the air circuit to clean the residual dust left on the upper part of the top ram.
7) Dust hood: Collect the discharged dust when the material door is closed to the set dust outlet;
Mixing system: including mixing chamber, rotor shaft, sealing device
1) Two pieces of the chamber wall in the front and back are symmetrical, adopting the jacket type welding structure, which can be heated or cooled by passing the medium. After welding, quenching and tempering with 45# steel plate, the surface surfacing hardness is ≥56HRC, 5mm thick hard alloy, finish machining, and then plated with hard chrome with thickness more than 0.12mm.
2) The left and right side walls are made of 45# steel plate welded into a jacket structure and welded with the bearing as an integral structure. After quenching, tempering and tempering, the structure is stable and strength is high. The surface surfacing hardness is ≥56HRC, 5mm thickness of hard alloy after processing and forming, and then the surface hard chrome plating with thickness ≥0.12mm.
3) Rotor: Two-wing tangential type rotor is adopted, the rotor shaft and blades are hollow, and each wing has independent water inlet and outlet channel with good cooling effect. The rotor shaft is made of 40Cr steel, quenched and tempered by heat treatment, surfacing with 5mm thick wear-resistant alloy, hardness ≥56HRC, finish machining, hard chrome plating on the surface, thickness ≥0.12mm, to ensure high hardness, good wear resistance, high bearing capacity, strong anti-torsion, smooth transmission of the rotor shaft, rotor rotation using 4 self-aligning bearings.
4) Two wing rotors, each rotor wing adopts a staggered structure of long and short wing, the two rotors with the same structure and same rotating direction are respectively staggered moving at a speed ratio of 1:1.16, to enable the material form multiple compound flows under the pressure of the top ram to perform S-shaped rotational motions in different directions along their respective axis. Both the mixing chamber and the rotor shaft are surfacing with wear-resistant alloy, and the gap between the rotor shaft wing and the chamber wall is set within 4mm, therefore the material can be fully extruded, sheared and mixed to meet the physical property requirements quickly, and the material does not leave dead corners in the mixing chamber to achieve the best mixing and dispersing effect.
5) The rotor cooling adopts forced circulation cooling system. The middle of the rotor shaft is hollow structure, and a stainless-steel cooling water pipe is inserted in the middle. The outer end of the water pipe is connected with rotary joint, and the inner end connects straightly with the center of rotor shaft, the reserved water inlet hole of each wing flows in the direction of the drainage hole, so as to achieve the cooling effect. There is an interlayer between the rotor wing and the shaft core (the wall thickness of the inner cavity of the rotor wing is 30mm), so that the cold water inside the rotor wing can sufficiently exchange the heat with the rubber compound to achieve the good cooling effect.
6) The machine adopts hydraulic operated external pressure seal, the dynamic ring is made of titanium alloy material with high hardness ≥85HRC, and the static ring is made of 10-1 copper material, so that the static ring is easy to disassemble and replace, and the dynamic and static rings use oil lubrication. The sealing specific pressure is adjustable and the sealing is reliable. We can ensure long-term durability and stable performance of the dynamic ring.
