Machine Description

Rubber open mill is mainly composed of rollers, bearings, temperature regulator, nip adjuster, transmission device, frame, lubrication device, emergency stop device and so on.

Machine features

1.The rubber open mixer has hollowed structure or drilled structure which ensures good cooling effect.

2.The rubber mixing mill is also equipped with an emergency brake device. When an emergent arises, just draw the safety pull rod, and the machine will stop immediately. It is safe and reliable.

3.The transmission system adopts a hardened tooth-surface reducer, which has a compact structure with higher transmission efficiency, lower noise and longer service life.

4.The base frame is a whole framework, which is convenient for installation.

5.Stock bender for direct rubber sheet and knife to cut as your need to assemble.

Machine nip adjustment method

Nip adjustment structure has three types: manual nip adjustment, motorized nip adjustment, hydraulic nip adjustment.

1) Manual nip adjustment

Turn the handwheel to drive the front roller bearing to move back and forth through the worm gear and worm nut. The distance adjusting device is characterized by simple structure and reliable operation. However, it is labor-intensive and suitable for small and medium-sized open mills.

2) Motorized nip adjustment

After the motor is decelerated by cycloid reducer, worm and gear, it drives the front roller to move forward and backward through the nut and screw. The advantage of this device is that it is easy to operate and reliable, but the disadvantage is that the structure is more complicated. Generally this adjustment method is used for large open mills.

3) Hydraulic nip adjustment

Hydraulic nip adjustment is a highly automated method. The hydraulic nip adjustment device consists of three major parts: hydraulic system, nip adjustment hydraulic cylinder and control system. There is a system pressure detection sensor in the hydraulic system. According to the change of the system pressure during the working process, the actual transverse pressure on the roller can be accurately calculated, and compared with the safety protection pressure allowed by the open mill through the control system, when the actual load is greater than the safety pressure, the roll distance will be automatically opened to unload the rolls of the mill, thus protecting the rolls. When the load peak is over and less than the safety pressure, the roll distance can automatically return to normal work location. Therefore, the open mill using the hydraulic distance adjustment method does not need to use mechanical safety devices to protect the equipment.

The hydraulic nip adjusting device is characterized by high degree of automation, good safety and simple operation, which improves the working efficiency of the open mill, but the overall cost is high and it is not easy to maintain.
